Bulgaria establishes diplomatic relations with the Republic of the Marshall Islands

Bulgaria and the Marshall Islands established diplomatic relations today, marking a significant milestone in strengthening bilateral ties and promoting peace and prosperity, the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Bulgaria to the United Nations wrote on Facebook.

The Joint Communiqué was signed by H.E. Ms. Amatlain Kabua, Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Marshall Islands to the UN, and H.E. Ms. Lachezara Stoeva, Permanent Representative of Bulgaria to the UN.

The Republic of the Marshall Islands is an island country near Guam in the Pacific Ocean, the archipelago is part of the bigger region of Micronesia.
