Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra and the Musical Theater present New Year's concerts

The Sofia Philharmonic and the "Stefan Makedonski" Musical Theater will present a festive program this evening on the occasion of the coming New Year.

The Sofia Philharmonic will perform its New Year's concert in the "Bulgaria" Hall under the baton of the Austrian conductor Sascha Goetzel. Arias and duets from famous operas will be performed with the participation of soloists Andrea Carè - tenor, Vittoria Yeo - soprano and Aleksandrina Mihaylova - soprano, as well as the National Philharmonic Choir.

A New Year's Operetta Ball will take place in the largest hall of the National Palace of Culture. The artists of the Musical Theater promise an atmosphere in the spirit of classic Viennese balls with beautiful and romantic music by Franz Lehár, Imre Kalman and Johann Strauss Jr.
