Hristo Stoichkov has been appointed the Sports Tourism Ambassador for the World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism). This became clear at an official meeting in the Council of Ministers between Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov, Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh, the UN Tourism Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili, and the world-famous Bulgarian footballer Hristo Stoichkov.
