Weather forecast for 28 February

Friday will be overcast with showers

There will be fog in the lowlands.

Friday will be mostly cloudy. Fog will cover the lowlands before midday. It will rain in some places, especially in southern Bulgaria. Minimum temperatures will be between 0 and 5°C, 2°C in Sofia, and maximum between 6 and 11°C, up to 17°C in the south-western regions, 11°C in Sofia.

It will be cloudy and foggy in the mountains. There will be some rain and snow above 1,300 to 1,500 metres. Light winds will blow from the south, on the highest peaks of Rila and Pirin - from the west-northwest. The maximum temperature will be around 4°C at 1,200 m and around 0°C at 2,000 m.

Along the Black Sea coast it will be mostly cloudy with rain in some places. Maximum temperatures will be between 7°C and 9°C, and 5°-6° at sea level. The sea swell will be 2-3.
