During the last night of civil discontent against the country's government, protesters released balloons in the colors of the national flag into the sky over Sofia - "so that everyone knows why we gather in the evening," explained Arman Babikyan of the Poison Trio, initiator of anti-government protests.

The traditional rally downtown Sofia also took place, BNR reporters informed.

In Plovdiv, about 400 people joined a march against the government. It began with a protest calling for a change in the system. The protest rally passed calmly in the streets and ended with a fire show, BNR Plovdiv reported.
