The largest trade union organization in the security sector- the Trade Union Federation of the Employees of the Ministry of Interior (TUFEMI) expresses concern over a planned reform in the structure of the Ministry of Interior, reads the position of the police syndicate in connection with the idea of this country's authorities to put the Fire Safety and Civil Protection Directorate and the Emergency Number 112 in a separate structure. This idea causes uncertainty, tension and demotivation among employees in several police directorates. Meanwhile, it raises doubts about the applicability of the coalition agreement, the statement further reads.

The Trade Union Federation of the Employees of the Ministry of Interior demands an urgent meeting with Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Kiril Petkov to discuss the situation in the Ministry of Interior.
